		<description>Haha I don&#039;t know that becoming a musician would provide you a stable income source, but I know that in band, our director and private teachers will sometimes pass us off information on gigs and you can make a few hundred bucks if you&#039;re a great player. :)

I have a friend who makes bank being a DJ, but he also likes to spend his money on things a lot. As far as joining a band goes, I don&#039;t think that&#039;s a lucrative career unless you&#039;re insane and you go to a lot of Battle of the Band competitions.

If you&#039;re going into music, saxaphone, paino, and trumpet are probably the most profitable solo instruments. They&#039;re the ones that are called in for things like weddings, ceremonies, etc.
